Hybrid headphone amp suggestions/ideas.

Hi all

 

I've been looking into building a headphone amp recently after purchasing a pair of 250 ohm DT880s and I would like to head in the direction of hybrid tube amps.

 

I had originally looked at the SSMH and then realized there were no PCBs around so I got discouraged.

I'm wondering if anyone had any recommendations for me in this department.  The 6DJ8 looked promising and apparently it sounds better than the SSMH too.

 

I'm looking to spend $100.  Am I on the right path?

Sorry there is no way that is better than a SSMH, its a good amp and fun to build, but my SSMH's are defiantly better
