iphone 4 dock to usb cable for headstage arrow

ok i just ordered a head stage arrow, and ill be listening to it from my macbook pro, and iphone as sources. So i was wondering since there is a usb input on it that i can use with the computer, is there any way that i could go direct from the iphone dock plug to a mini usb so i can use the usb input even when im on the go?

has anyone heard of anything like this? seems like it would be an easy quality increase

There isn't a cable as such that you can use digital output from an iPod.  You'd need a Wadia i70, Onkyo (forgot the model number) or one of those boxes that ALO Audio was promoting recently. None are cheap from memory. Then you'd need a DAC which has a digital input other than USB in most, if not all cases.
