HE-6 inquiries (can't find the answers I'm searching for)

I owned the HE-5 and heard the prototype HE-6, my advice is get the HE-5 if you can afford a big depreciation hit. It's an excellent headphone. But now that the FOTM hype is over, you will lose at least $200 trying to sell it on. Actually I had 2 HE-5s and a HE-5 LE, I lost a lot of money selling them. Seems like nobody has any idea when the 6 will come out, and very few people have heard teh production version, so if you're jonesing for a Chinese planar headphone just go for it. It's just money right? You can't take it with you when you die.

1. November 4th

2. No official prices, but whispers are of a $999 price for early adopters (1-2 months from release?) then $1199 from there on.

3. Production model is significantly more sensitive than the prototype meaning it can be run from any decently high power headphone amp, or can still be run from a speaker amp under 75W or over 75W using the included 'Impedancer' box. The production has a sexy black paint job, while the prototype had brown leather on the cups. The headband on the production is the same as the prototype. The cable on the prototype was a complete joke. The production model is worlds better in all aspects.

4. With the HE-6 being released Nov 4th, I would certainly wait the few days.
