Iphone 4 line out cable, pinout

Hi,

 

I ve been a head-fi follower for a long time, but this is my first message. I always try to make my cables on my own,I ve got iphone 4 now, i made lod for my friend before. he used it with its iphone 3g. Should i use same pinout diagram for my iphone 4 lod? i guess the diagram i found was on diy thread too. also, i get same diagram from pinout.ru

iphone 4 connector is same with 3g? if not, how can i make a diy lod for my iphone 4?

yes te same pinout works, but apparently the resistor is nolonger needed, you may as well leave it in though to allow wider compatibility

pin out is the same, I tested the ip4 with those lods made for other ips and they all worked flawlessly.
