6" USB A to B Cable ???

Hi All, Thank you for the recommendations! 

 

I have been using my Nuforce uDAC-2 and MEElectronics M6 earphones non stop and loving it! 

 

Got tired of 2' USB cable, so following  Xin Feng's instructions http://www.fixup.net/tips/usb/index.htm  shortened my USB cable to 6". 

 

Didn't do a perfect job, does anyone know of a 6" USB A to B cable ?  Looked high and low with no luck.

The shortest i can find is 0.5m, i use this 1 with my dac http://www.lindy.co.uk/05m-premium-gold-usb-2-cable-type-a-to-b/37650.html

You're lucky. I either get told by Amazon.com that either they can't ship that cable out of the US (to the UK) or I am told the postage is four times the cost f the cable. Plus, it's practically impossible to find such a short USB cable in the UK.

I'd be willing to send mine to you, £10 should roughly cover the cost of shipping via USPS Priority International, if you'd like.

 

I don't need mine anymore.

Here is a 7.5 inch.  http://www.amazon.com/USB-2-0-Cable-7-5in-Male/dp/B000ZCYK0O/ref=pd_sim_e_2   I use their 12 inch cable with my uDac, it's a well built product.  The Ziotek website has retailer links, check if any of them will ship outside USA.

Funnily enough, I've found a retailer on ebay, named kraydad, who sells a 6 inch USB cable for a little over £4 delivered, which is much more like it. With a choice of black or white too!

 

I'm going with black.
