New (post '09" replacement cables?

I've literally gone through at least a dozen of the '09 or earlier cables and was told by sleek support to watch this thread or Facebook for announcements of a redesigned cable. 

 

That was months ago.  

 

What's the deal?  I just want something that will last.  I simply do not use my sleeks anymore because of the shoddy cables.  frown.gif

I was recently told of a new iphone compatible cable from Sleek.  Holliday time?

I have an iphone and am in need of a good headset for it ... but if the construction doesn't VASTLY improve, the last thing I want is for Sleek to make the build even more complex.  

 

Simply give me a sturdy cable that I am comfortable using and I'm a happy guy.  In fact, overkill would be appreciated.
