Heavy music for Halloween

Ever year around Halloween I get into the mood of listening to old-school death metal. I listen to it often enough but for some reason it is more effective around Halloween.  You know the pre-1994 stuff that focused more on murk and actual grimness as opposed to hyper blast blast blast type material.  So here's some of the stuff I've been listening to here lately.  It also includes some of the new oldschool death revival type bands too.  As that has been happening for a while now.

Some of the bands I've been enjoying as of late:

Old Incantation

Baphomet

Cemetary

Carnage

Funebrarum

Father Befouled

Deteriorot

Early Deicide

This is back when death metal knew how to be creepy.

So what other heavy music gets you guys into this particular time of year?

Back in my early days of being a metalhead in the early 90's a dude in a flea market sold me this album telling me it was death metal.  I got home and heard the vocals and thought it was stupid as hell.  A few listens later on I started to appreciate the eeriness of the music.  I like that reverb used on it too.

Jack95, That Helloween song was pretty sweet.  Never checked them out before.  Might have to do some research on them.

Iced Earth - Horror Show.

not death metal.  more like power metal.

but, has a neat halloween tie-in with all the songs about monsters...

(not Iced Earth's best album by any stretch, but pretty decent stuff)

Doesn't need to be death metal.  Can be anything in the metal realm that gets one into the Halloween spirit.  Black, doom, gothic, any.  I always felt metal was synonymous with Halloween because a lot of metal if done right can be pretty creepy.

I've loved Iced Earth for a while.  Something Wicked This Way Comes is one of my favorite albums by them.  Subsequently one of my fave Ray Bradbury books too.  Good suggestion TheWuss.

Here's an obvious one.

and some not so obvious
