A very all-round headphone for me. Just the right one to take on the go or on holiday. Also as a DJ, nice noice isolation. Very durable so you don't have to wonder if it will break if you throw...

This quick review is done after a few hours of listening. I bought them from B&H for the decent sum of 150$. If you've done your research you'll find out that Ultrasone HPs are known for their...

I auditioned the SRH-1840 straight out of the box, and was unsatisfied with the sound, so I decided to give them a period of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite differences...

I recently purchased a stereo receiver and a pair of Klipsch speakers at BestBuy. Speakers were demos, and the Sony receiver was a return, very affordable, excellent sound. These were for my recent college graduate who was wowwed by them compared to all the "computer speakers" that were the norm at the dorms. You don't have to spend a lot to find acceptable stereo gear, but you have to look hard to find it in and among all the home theater gear.
I still remember looking for an amp a few years back and went to the only "audiophile" store in town. He only stocked and displayed home theater gear. I was quite disappointed. Of course he is not in business anymore, and I have very few friends (if any) who own stereo setups.
If you live in a decent sized city, look at craigs list, flea markets, and everyone you knows attic for a stereo receiver and a pair of bookshelf speakers.
thanks.
