The new nwz s755 has just been released in UK, does this model still suffers from the low volume issue?

 

Is it better than the s639 or s739?

Frankly speaking the sq of the S series dont really great.

would be safer to go for a cowon or sflo2.

I found a link a while back in another forum. It was an email from Sony UK stating everything now coming into Europe or UK is volume capped.

If your keen on the Walkman i would suggest getting a A82- or A72- series.

In the service menu you can disable the volume restriction and also tweet the DAP frequencies to suit your tastes.

I have had the S544 and the SQ is a step back from my A828 IMO.

Does this mean the s739 is way better then, since you can access its service menu as well as it does not have a volume cap and sounds very good?

I wonder if this new Sony will make its way over the pond?  I haven't seen any word about it yet.  If it does, perhaps you can buy it from a stateside dealer and those players will not be volume capped.
