30th November Evening - Mini Meet in Bank, London

Well, I work in London a few days a week and thought the 30th was easy to get to from St Pauls.
 
Unfortunately, I now need to be in NOttingham until about 6pm so I'm afraid I will not be able to make the meet.
 
My work is the stuff I have to do to afford the things in life I want.
 
Very sorry for the pull out, but I wanted to post straight away.
 
Maybe next time.

Ah sorry to hear that Sceptre, maybe next time. I know a little afterwork number like this throws up a lot of logistical issues for a lot of us.
 
My hope is someone will take the reigns of a proper weekend larger scale meet in London. I wouldn't have the time to organise something like that from the group up but would be more than happy to be on the support team if someone else did.

Keen to try your IEMS - I've got some comply tx100's and expecting medium shure olives this week, so I'll bring those along and any others I can find...

Eddie E - thanks very much, that's very kind of you.  I don't know why I didn't like the 325i's with my Hornet.  I just didn't think they sounded as good with it as my SR60's do, and that shouldn't be the case.
 
The only thing I can think of is that perhaps they just need a full-on home amp to get the most out of them.

I was think of holding a meet on a weekend, but i thought of holding it around Heathrow area as that way easy to get in and out by tube or even easier to park the car.
I was just wondering how many people would come to something just outside the city?
I hope to pop in on the 30th, i could bring some Stax's if anybody wanted to hear them..

Hi Guys,
 
Ok i will bring my 007Tmk2 (modified) and and pair of Lambda classic and Omega's mk2 headphones with me, i also can throw in the box a ALO cable for AKG702 if somebody wants to try this as well.
I will bring a few cables as well just to be on the safe side, do i need to bring my cd player?
 
It will nice to meet all you guys and hae a pint at the same time.

Man! Those are some seriously renouned Stax you have there! Can't wait to hear them.
 
If you can bring the CD player it might be handy - from responses so far it seems source and amps are going to be a little sparse so anything from either cartegory would be helpful.

I would definitely be up for a weekend meet. I would love to attend on the 30th but sadly my location and work requirements means that's not possible.
 
If you need help organising/setting up let me know, I'd be happy to help. I could also bring along the headphones, amps, sources etc. that I have.

Is anybody bringing a laptop or something like that as i maybe could bring an Ayre QB-9 a USB dac to a[size=10pt]nalogue convertor and i will see about a cd player as i hope to coming in on the train.[/size]
