Why did you join headfi? - Page 4

I wanted to know more about headphones, and portable amps. My friends recommended this site, and decided to join. 

Happy to be part of this community! 

Looking into all things audio. Everyone and everything has been chill thus far, and I plan on staying for a long, long time. I know my wallet won't be to pleased, but my ears will! 

I created an account incase I wanted/needed to ask some questions. I remember I tried to search and read as much as I could tolerate before creating a account since people usually become annoyed if you don't. And of course I ended up posting more then I thought I would, and definitely lurked more than I thought I would. And now because of this place I really want to buy an expensive AMP and DAC. Shame on you guys. :P

I joined simply to research and find a good upgrade to my K240M...how could I have known about the evil that lie waiting.

Do I regret it all?? No, but my wallet has sure had a lot of laughs.

I kept getting Head-Fi junk mail in my mailbox at home.  Weird! 

Actually, I first came here when my Shure SE320's were acting up (cable issues, of course).  At the time, I was blown away knowing that there was a forum dedicated to HEADPHONES!   A couple years later, I'm a couple thousand in the whole, but my ears are happy

I'd be curious to see a poll that included 'trouble w/ Shures' as an option for this thread.

That'd be my choice.  I was looking for info on the warranty for my se530's and found this place.
