I am about to get my first pair of real IEM's. I am right now leaning more towards the RE0 just because I have heard non-stop good things about them and they seem to be the most recommended IEM headphone. I really really like to listen to details and clarity in my music and movies. I also would like a decent soundstage for gaming. I am coming from a set of AD-700's which were pretty great with movies and music, and not as good as I thought in games, but still very good. I would like to get something similar to them with even better clarity and detail and it seems the RE0's fit the bill for this. Then I saw the UM1's on Amazon with almost a perfect 8 rating stars. People on Amazon are pretty critical when it comes to rating equipment so I thought this was a good thing that it got an almost perfect 8 with only 2 four stars. But anyways, they look cooler and they are a little more expensive. I need a little help deciding on what to do. Also, I am gonna get the Shure Olives for the RE0's because I heard they really help make the headphone better. Also, I've heard the RE0's benefit a little from an amp. My source and amp equipment are the Xtrememusic XFI (modded) and a HA400 Behringer Amplifier.
