Please help with connection to amp issue

Hi,

 

I am looking at the best way to connect my ipod to my headphone amp via the ipod line-out.

 

I am unsure whether to get an ipod line-out dock (possibly Sendstation Pocketdock) and connect it to the amp via a mini-mini cable or whether to get a dock-mini cable (possibly FiiO L3) and connect it straight from the ipod to the amp.

 

Can someone advise me if there would be any difference using either option?  Would using the LOD + mini-mini cable just add an unnecessary link in the chain?

 

Hope somebody can help me (I'm quite new to this!!)

Hello minkstole,

 

I have never used the sendstation, but I believe either way would be great as long as you use line-out and not headphone out...
