Critique my marketing paper - it's about headphones!

I wrote a paper about the HD-800 for my marketing class... with the help of acoolguy for fact checking. Anybody wanna read and critique? By the way it's not really a formal paper, it was only supposed to be 1 1/2 pages. So there's no conclusion and the structure is poor, but that won't matter. It's more of a homework assignment than a paper.

1.Jude joined Head Fi in June 2001 so im guessing that was when it was founded

2.the r10 went out of production in 2004, and I THINK the qualias in 2006-Not to sure about the qualias.  I couldnt find anything on the HE60s.

3.the HD800 was released in January 2009

4.couldnt find a straight answer to this one, but the oldest ortho I know of are the Yamaha HP-1s, which were released in 1976 and discontinued in 1990. here is a link to an thread I found on here about orthos:

Bonus: Sennheiser's mission statement and corporate objectives-

Demand Excellence – In our products, services and people

It says that I don't have access to the document.

At any rate, I think you should add some quotes from Kirosia and maybe a pic of Nikongod.

That'll spice things up.

Well, when I signed in it said another person was viewing it, so at least some people can access... anyway, I changed my permission to the most public, so try again. LOL, that pic of Ari and his R10 would have made a great cover...

Read it. I was somewhat surprised it was only about the HD800

For what it's worth (imho):

It was easy to read but I did find a clear intro and some chronologic structure was missing. If I was your teacher I'd probably ask you where you got the information about the shrinking markets and the headphone market to be the fastest growing sector. You should be able to back that up with numbers or a study if you make such a important point in your paper.

I'm also wondering where you got the sales numbers for the headphones promoted on head-fi

It was a nice read! Oh and put the word "circumaural" in it in stead of "over/around the ears", that should make an nice impression

Yeah, I'm aware of all that... in a more serious class we would be required to cite our sources. But what can I say, I'm a dumb guy and I go to a university for dumb people. The specific sales numbers are accurate though, but don't ask me how I know wink.gif And I think it's common sense the direct or indirect influence of Head-Fi has led to tens of thousands of purchasing decisions since the site was established.

I'm convinced of that as well ;-)

Formatting suggestion: Put a space between each paragraph. It helps with readability.
