Hi Guys, I am looking for something similar to uDac2 from price/feature point of view. Decided to avoid it due to the "noise" issue. Main usage is playing classical, vocal, instrument music FLAC files from my laptop and use it as a DAC/Headphone amp. I am still shopping for a good pair of cans probably around $100. 24/96 capability is great to have. Not necessary need to have a built in battery for me to carry it around. Any recommendation?

A very all-round headphone for me. Just the right one to take on the go or on holiday. Also as a DJ, nice noice isolation. Very durable so you don't have to wonder if it will break if you throw...

I auditioned the SRH-1840 straight out of the box, and was unsatisfied with the sound, so I decided to give them a period of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite differences...

I didn't think of TEAC when I began searching for a dedicated CD player. My initial short list included Denon, Cambridge, Marantz, Onkyo. The Teac intrigued me, so I went for it. It is very...

Not trying to persuade you or anything, but it's going to be hard to find something around the quality and size of a udac2 for 100 dollars. The noise issue seems to be mainly in Sweden with a few incidents in the United States. I would give the uDac2 a try and if it does have a noise issue, they will surely replace it for you.
yes, i agree is pretty hard to find a replacement for the price/performance point of view, that is why i am asking expert in this forum for suggestion
. Anyway, due to the reason of where i am located, it is pretty hard for me to make the purchase and asking for some replacement part later.
Currently I am looking at iBasso D2. Cost a little more, dont have 24/96, but havent heard anyone complain about it at all.
