Audéo Perfect Bass Earphones or the Audéo Perfect Fit Earphones, I'm Confused!

I was reading on this forum that you can make an Audeo PFE earphone into an Audeo Perfect Bass Earphone by changing the Audeo Green Filter for Perfect Bass.

 

I'm very much interested in getting an Audéo Perfect Fit Earphones  so s    

so I called them up and they said the Audeo Perfect Bass Earphones ($89) and the Audeo Perfect Fit Earphones ($139) are 2 different earphones and the Audeo Perfect Bass Earphones is the newest model and I should get the newer model ($89).

 

I'm confused and lost. On their website it says filters are compatible with all PFE models.

They are compatible. The perect fits come with black and grey filters with the changing tool, comply foam tips, silicone tips, ear guides, and a case. The perfect bass come with only the green filters already installed with no addtional filters and silicone tips.

Yeah they are, I would suggest getting the perfect bass, then getting the other filters, it might be cheaper if you also just get one, (The Grey's) but having not heard it I would suggest getting the perfect fit, then purchase the greens. At the end of the day I wouldt suggest getting the Phonaks at all, until all the build quality issues are worked out. This was supposed to be addressed, with the rebuilt V something, 2 I think but I dont know.The phones are known to have cable issues, and cracking on the phone itself. Ive personally went thru 3, the one I have now cable wise is hardened can't say I would suggest it for you, but send them a email for details on the 'new one'. 

 

If you don't decide to get the Phonak's there's always the Pana's!

All those issues that you mentioned have been addressed on the v1 released over a year ago.
