I bought a pair of refurbished Sennhesser IE8s that were refurbished on Amazon for $209.

The seller was adgtron.  I understand that Adgtron is an official Sennheisser repair center and that they have genuine Sennheisser gear.

 

I got it today and it didn't come with the outside cardboard box, but all the other parts were there and the headphones look like new.  

 

I checked out the phones and packaging comparing them to the photos on the FAKE IE8 thread and they passed all the visual checkists, so I believe it is genuine.

adgtron was selling it for $179.00 last week. When I was ready to pull the trigger, I found out that they are in Sennheiser's NONauthorized list. So I went with Dakmart via buy.com for $185.00 shipped. The IE8 I received looks new and genuine from visual inspection. Just got it last night and will investigate some more.
