Oh wow I had it all wrong. I though it worked the way smaller speakers fit inside bigger speakers, in the way a 4 way 6x9 car speaker has the smaller speakers sitting inside the bowl of the bigger speaker lol. This explains a lot. I've haven't listened to a BA IEM before, I'm really looking forward to the Sony XBA-3 and the UE 700 I ordered smily_headphones1.gif

Thanks for the video. That's just insane how small those are and to get 10 to fit in someone's ear plus you'd probably need crossovers as well is just mind boggeling!

Pulled the trigger on the UE700 as well. Sigh....i guess I'll have to research between the Shure SE215, Klipsch X10 and UE700....

 It's a far drive from where I live, and now with the weekend & shopping with everyone roads are going to get jammed. I'll try to dig out the reciepts and will post if I have them. Went to the Inmotion store located at the food court at the MCO Orlando airport and they have a 20% OFF on earphones, they had the Shure SE535 Limited Edition for $549.99 and with the 20% off and tax I paid only $468.59, not bad not bad at all...

I am blown away by how good they sound with the Comply tips; the Klipsch X10's are going back to Amazon now.cool.gif

These were the last ones available in the store, they say that won't bring the LE edition back.

i bought one of these. There's just a couple of creases on the (paper) packaging, and is shrink-wrapped nicely.

 

Everything inside is good, so I have to say it's a pretty good deal :D

Thats a good deal considering they sell the refurbs for $199 on there outlet site.
