Different strokes, I guess. I like mine, got at the $40 price, haven

t done critical comparisons, but enjoyed listening to them (dividing my time between the H0t-in the threads JVC carbon nanotubes iem and full size, and other miscellanious purchases I didn't need, haven't spent a ton of time). Do like the FXD80, no deals, however, shipped from Japan, not prohibitively expensive, though)

The buzz on the JVC SF40's is that they are close to the 80's, and can be found much more cheaply, 20-40 bucks or so. I haven't heard them myself-Dsnuts loves these.

FYI, Amazon still has a pair of the used beyerdynamic DT235, via 3rd party, for under $30 shipped, here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00198BY48/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used

 

Just received mine and they were in perfect condition.

NCIX is selling Sennheiser IE60 for 150 CND this week

this is likely the lowest you will ever find it (at least in Canada), though it's not very popular with headfi in general and I'm sure a lot of people will argue about having better choices even at that price point.

I belive it's always 10-15%.

 

And no, to my knowledge UE and UM do not do that kind of sales.
