They have more of a planned obsolesence track record. The impression I'm left with, the lifetime warranties dont transfer once they change out out to a different model; so it's more like a 3 year warranty.

Yeah, maybe, but their top of the line IEM may not be as good, to me, as having the Trumpets, I like them that much.

A number of people here on Head-Fi have reported recently that when their MMD Tributes died, Monster sent them MMD Trumpets as the Tributes have been discontinued.  This leaves me to believe that in the future they will likely provide what they believe to be an equivalent IEM should the Trumpets be discontinued.  But of course, I do not know this for sure.....

Yes, that will happen. Considering some of the QC issues they had with the Turbines and Tributes, they had to offer a lot of replacements. I feel the Trumpets have less fail potential, but who knows?

Guess I was hoping for $50. I'm lukewarm on $69. Looks like I'm not the only one that feels that way. Only 8% claimed after 1 1/2 hours.

That would be great - ever seen them any lower than this however so you may have a long wait.  maybe they will have a xmas special that's lower.  good luck.  I'll let you konw if they are as good as all the reviews say they are.
