The IEM/Portable Headphones Deal Alerts Thread - No affiliate links permitted! - Page 256

Does anyone know any deals on Shure SE215's? Best I've found so far is $90 from headphones.com with the head-fi discount. The earphones solution 15% coupon comes out to just above the headphones.com offering because shipping isn't free once you apply the code. Anyone got anything better?

Gear mentioned in this thread:

Sorry for the double post, but just remembered as I was reading the other deals that the Creative Aurvana In Ear 3 deal from Amazon can possibly be bettered from the headphones.com price match + 10% head-fi discount if anyone is looking to buy these right now.

I got mine yesterday from Amazon. Don't' like it. Will return.

That's unfortunate. I've been debating on them now that I've seen the cheaper prices or the SE215's. Still leaning towards the 215's though at this point. What exactly didn't you like about them?

same here.  a little too warm/mid-centric, poor bass extension, and light but cheap feeling cabling.  at $100 its still a good buy if you want something thats really non-fatiguing and comfortable.

Audiotechnica M50LE ... the silver edition for Audio-technica's 50th aniversary is $129 shipped at sound professionals (only comes in straight cable).

Unless you want to wait another week or so for the WH (white) coiled edition...

Thanks for that. I almost bought it. Unfortunately, the shipping to Brazil is ridiculously expensive and the cheaper doesn't offer tracking nor insurance. =(

Guess it went back up, it's showing $169.99 for me. Too bad, that was a decent deal :(

I think the $129 is taking into account the $40 gift card that comes with it.

Ah, I missed that before. Thanks. Pulled the trigger, looking forward to see how these compare to all of the hype.

Looks quite cool in silver imo.

I changed my mind. Just bought it too. Let's compare it to HD668B, Aurvana Live!, HM5, Crossfade LP and M80 to find how they perform. ;)

I don't know if it's nationwide, but the local Costco in Toledo,OH has V-Moda Crossfire LPs priced at $99.99 with a $20 mfr instant rebate for a total of $79.99.
