Price went up, it was at 152.99 earlier today, perhaps it was a price mistake?

Still $199 isn't to bad of a price for these.

On the other hand, found them on Amazon for $152.99  -

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B002EL4RIE/ref=dp_olp_new_map?ie=UTF8&qid=1300897262&sr=8-1&condition=new

You have to buy directly from Amazon, see other buying choices if $152.99 doesn't show up. They are currently out of stock but will ship once in. You have to buy them now to get that price, you will be billed when they ship (I think).

The MTPC is still $224 directly from Amazon (authorized dealer), which is the lowest so far anywhere.  I purchased these a few weeks ago just to have a high tier universal IEM to always have after all my others have broken and their warranty have dried out.  Plus, the build is better with the new version and includes a pair of slick ear guides that is designed and works very well.

Oh really.  Care to elaborate?  Got pics of any changes and the new ear guides?

Here you go.  The neck has changed which is much more flexible and I noticed the metal weight is less, but the sound hasn't changed.  I was taken by surprise of the ear guides.  It appears to be made of heavy gauge wire and very bendable to custom suit the shape of behind the ear. However, I think the copper colored ends are a little overboard.  Enjoy!

Monster Turbine PRO High-Performance In-Ear Speakers (Gold)

Amazon still has these for $152.99

You have to buy directly from Amazon, who are out of stock, but ship when stock comes in.

See "More Buying Choices" on the right on this page:

Yup it's there, add the option w/ no price.  See below.

"Retailers like Amazon have the legal right to set their own prices independently, but some manufacturers place restrictions on how those prices may be communicated. Because our price on this item is lower than the manufacturer's "minimum advertised price," the manufacturer does not allow us to show you our price until you take further action, such as placing the item in your shopping cart, or in some cases, proceeding to the final checkout stage. The steps required depend on the details of the manufacturer's minimum advertised price policy. Taking these steps allows Amazon to show you our price consistent with our goal of always offering you the lowest possible prices on the widest selection of products.

This won't require you to purchase the product. You can easily remove it from your cart if you decide not to buy it."

We realize that this is an inconvenience and are regularly working to educate manufacturers on how their policies impact our customers. We welcome your comments and suggestions in our forum on this topic.

Head Direct pre-order pricing on the RE262 of $149 ($100 off, iirc). this is less than these were on the fs forum recently!  there's a crew who'd consider these superior to any of the monsters, let alone other manufacturers, iems. (see the re262 thread for impressions and comparisons):

so apparently you're still wearing it with cable straight down, but now with ear guides to help support the housing? Out of curiosity, how does this help or put at an advantage, especially in regards to the cable noise that all turbines virtually have?

Coppers sound best spaced further from the ear to open up the treble and clarity and expand the soundstage.  Problem is gravity likes to pull them out of your ear when worn this way.  They can basically teeter otherwise.  So that's what the ear hooks do.  Microphonics is not addressed in this case.

Keep this to deal offerings only guys as per the thread rules. No "What's the best price for x?" or "Are these better than this?"... any unsolicited discussions really.
