Says who? I think mine sound decent for the price ($25ish) though I'll agree $40 is a  bit much for them considering the M1's sound a good bit better in everything but mids.

Check this for authorized dealers: http://www.sennheiserusa.com/serviceandsupport_dealer-locator_authorized-retailers

I've also contacted Sennheiser before regarding refurbished headphones - they said a third party refurbs them, not directly by sennheiser.

Refurbished HD238 for $25.99. Sold and shipped by Amazon, so pretty sure they're real:

I've got these. A very relaxing headphone. Easy to listen to, warm and enveloping sound. Not as clinical or precise as some might like, though. For $25.99 they're a great deal, especially since they qualify for Amazon's free "super saver" shipping so $25.99 is your bottom line.

Refurbished Turbines don't come with any extra tips. They only come with a pouch and shirt clip.

Haa, not sure man, just read those review that I can find, most are on the negative side, but for $25 is cheap, I wont mind buying just for spare. =)

I received my refurb Turbines yesterday and was shocked to see it come with so many tips. They gave me three single flange sets (S,M,L) and 2 sets of triple flange tips (S/L I assume). I'm still using Sony Hybrids because I couldnt find a good fit with the stock tips

That's weird, I wonder why others didn't receive these and you did. I'm wondering what is going to come in the mail in a few days lol, will keep everyone updated if interested.

EDIT: Trying to reach monster customer service, do they ever answer the phone?

Sennheiser IE7 only 68.99£ delivered :o thats like half price compared to most of the other stores. Couldn't find them so cheap even in the US.

Canadian CS has picked up my phone promptly every time, though I heard that the U.S. might have a bit of that problem.

Hey guys, not to be a stick in the mud, but can we try to keep this thread strictly to deal postings and commentary related immediately to the deal, as per the OP?  Whether or not they sound good, are comfy, etc is what the rest of Head-fi is for  :)

FWIW from dealnews.com

Skullcandy knocks 40% off most items sitewide via coupon code "UPSAPPRECIATE". (Some exclusions apply.) That ties our January offer as the best coupon we've from Skullcandy since 2009. All orders qualify for free shipping.

the skullcandy comply tips are the t400s, so if your iems use those that coupon is a good deal.
