I already have a 64gb card in my clip. Damn thing holds more than my ipad.

I thought you can only use up to 32GB card? or does Rockbox fixes that too? so I would assume that if the 128GB card is released later down the track, you would be able to use this too?

Ya the 64gb card works fine. I'n fact I just booted in Sansa mode just for this post.

After waiting like 8 min's for it to "refresh my media" the 64gb card showed up just fine.

The "trick" is to format the card to FAT in linux first. Windows wants to only format it into exFAT and you can't change it. Once you have done the format you are good to go. I just used the basic disk utility on the default setting. No partition of any kind just format it.

So yes presumably the 128gb card will work the same way. Hopefully.

Is there a thread for portable sources?

TTVJ, which is now offering Deals of the Day (they seem to go on much longer than one day... hmm...), has the HiSoundAudio Rocoo BA for $175 through Nov. 13.

http://www.ttvjaudio.com/dealoftheday.asp

That's cheaper than the Rocoo P for a serious step up in sound quality!

(And if you're unfamiliar, the "BA" moniker is a only cautious gamble to make sure those with high-sensitivity pieces feel comfortable ordering one.  Truth is, FWIR, device is a high-quality DAP for any easy or moderate load.  Read up on it!)
