Right. And it voids the warranty. And if you are gonna void the warrant yourself you might as well buy used/refurbished. It's not rocket science!

I'm sure one could argue their way out of a service denial. To begin with, one wouldnt mention what they did, since it isnt relevant to the claim they are making(unless they were very sloppy with the application). But if someone was to decide to spill the beans, they could argue how it wasnt worth the paying for shipping and waiting the long turnaround for something that should have been done right in the first place.

Still, my experience with Monster warranty has been very good. It wouldnt surprise me if they would issue a replacement even if you told them it had to be glued.

Free Phonak Audeo PFE Perfect Bass Earphones for £20.95 when you subscribe to Stuff Magazine (RRP £89.99) @ The Magazine Shop

This is courtesy of hotukdeals.com post http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/free-phonak-pfe-012-for-20-95-when-subscribe-stuff-magazine-rrp-89-99-magazine-shop-1055390

The HUKD post states these are 012 but I couldn't see that mentioned in the actual deal, but as this is their lowest end earphone it is the worst that you can get.

Seems a great deal to me, so have gone for it, plus you get 6 months of gadget magazine as well.

EDIT: This deal has now ended.

apparently the PFE offer is no good in the US; takes you to a different page with no mention of the offer, and only a year-long subscription.

Grouchy I like your sig quote; who is D Rumsfield, the Jewish cousin of Donald Rumsfeld?

Good catch Radiohead, and funny too.  I've been using that quote for several years and nobody noticed!

It's now $180.93. LOL.

$173.33 as of 1900 EST. smily_headphones1.gif

EDIT: If I recall correctly, last year during Black Friday / Cyber Monday there were many Sennheiser deals offered. Not sure if they'll do it this year as well, but it's something to consider if anybody wants some Senns for Christmas.

Yea I just canceled my order lol.

By the way, last year I was too distracted with the $98 TF10 deals that I didn't pay attention to other deals. Can you elaborate on what kind of Sennheiser deals that happened last year?

P.S. I think we need a Black Friday/Cyber Monday thread.
