I've always wondered that too but you could get the IE8 from JR for $255 shipped so it's $0.76 more for the mic version lol.

Short notice and not a whole lot of time left but just saw these a bit ago...

Best Buy Online Midnight Sale

Ends 8:00am EDT, Thursday 08/04/2011

Free in-store pick-up and a I believe ship-to-store.

There's also the Sennheiser IE7 listed for $49.99, but it shows up as in-store only.  Not to mention it isn't available anywhere as far as I can tell.  Sucks because that's the only one I'd want, since I dislike supra-aural cans.  If anybody figures out how to get them please do tell!

Bah, nevermind looks like it's all gone now :(.  That was sadly quick.

For any Australian HF'ers, the Creative Aurvana Live for $70 deal appears to be back in stock. http://au.store.creative.com/headphones-headsets/aurvana-live/437-17088.aspx Some other things on sale as well, but the CAL's seem like decent value.

Those prices were eek.gif!!!

**** those prices are unheard of! I would've been all over that HD25...

Christ... I don't understand why subscribe "immediately" doesn't give me all the thread updates... that was criminal pricing on the Senns, but I never got the update e-mail.

Would have missed it anyways I'm sure. The post was made more than 3 and a half hours after the deal began.

Sigh, I have "deal alerts" on slick deals for all sorts of combinations of headphone, earphone, Sennheiser etc... just added "best buy midnight". I noticed it was posted on SD to little fanfare. F!

I bet if you had recorded that scream, and then played it back through those headphones, you would have heard a very nuanced rendition. biggrin.gif
