Ear Canals

Sorry if this is the wrong section to post. But i was wondering if the deep insertion of iem's cause the ear canal to be permanently enlarged?

I've never heard this myself. The idea of IEMs is to use the correct sized buds so there isn't any discomfort.

You can go too far but I doubt you actually would... you'd feel it

If you're using non custom fit just pull the top of the ear up and place the IEM deep inside.

Thanks for the replies! I guess i'm just paranoid because i have a set of customs on the way and the iem's im using go pretty deep. So just worried the customs might be loose.
