Sennheiser IE8

So obviously there has been a lot of questions on legitamacy of the Ie8.

I'm pretty satisfied that both of these sellers are indeed not pawning fake goods.

One is 179 from http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0012XFDWE/ref=dp_olp_refurbished?ie=UTF8&condition=refurbished

The other is http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk/shop/Headphones.6/Sennheiser.48/IE8/Sennheiser_IE8_High-Fidelity_Noise-Isolating_Earphones.3472.html

 

Based on the 100 price difference, is it worth it to go with a refurb edition or a new one.

Is there a sq risk with getting a refurbed ie8?

I don't know about the Amazon listing but AMP3 are official Sennheiser re-sellers so their earphones are definitely legitimate.

I bought refurbished IE7s from adgtron via Amazon and they were genuine (thanks everybody for the threads on spotting Sennheiser fakes). Adgtron gets refurbs from DAKMART (an authorized Sennheiser dealer). I have been very happy with them.

can you confirm? very shady and i haven't got any confirmations his whole batch is real.

he never replied to my email as well.

I emailed him through Amazon about his source and he responded the same day. We exchanged several other emails after that about delivery details.

Hello guys, I am new here. Actually I stay for along time reading here but this is my first post. Currently I am still waiting for the item to arrive. As soon as I got my hands on this I will review it and let you guys know what I think. I have my Klipsch Custom 3 and AKG K318P to compare with then I also can compare with friend's Denon AH710 and ATH CKS90.

 

But before that have anyone had experience with this reseller yet? So far their response through emails are good.

adgtron is legit, he's sold a boatload of genuine refurbs of the IE series.
