You're likely to get 10 different answers from 10 different people with a question like that.  And it might be a matter of Different, not Better..  All commercial products are built to a price point and a profit margin.  I suspect that the only way to get considerably better sound for the same price, you would have to go the DIY route (like the Gamma2)
