I just ordered both of them yesterday.  The Schiit should arrive today and the Bellari tomorrow so I will try and post some first impressions on them within a few days.

I'll be very interested in this outcome.  I was looking at the Bellari hard a few months ago.  And the feeling on the Asgard has been a little mixed.

Yes, please let us know your thoughts on the two.

I like the small form factor and retro-looks of the Bellari, just wish they'd put the headphone jack on the front side of the unit.

Maybe there wasn't any room internally.

I have the Bellari HA540. I really like how it sounds. The stock tube is not very good IMO. I put in a re-issued Mullard 12AX7 and it made a world of difference. The sound is fast and smooth. It is well worth the $219 investment. Got on eBay, new.

I just ordered my Asgard yesterday and it shipped today. I should get it in by either saturday or monday and will posting my impressions of it. Only thing is im coming from an expensive receiver headphone output so i dont know if i have much to compare it to. Just hope i like it lol.

I have the Bellari HA 540 tube headphone amp.  Right out of the box it was extremely bright.  I took DjAmTrax's advice and replaced the tube with a Mullard 12AX7 and it sounds awesome.  I just bought a set of Sennheiser HD 598 headphones that (After a break-in) really came alive with the Bellari tube amp & replacement tube modification.

Not sure if anyone's still alive here but would love to hear impressions of the 540...especially vs. the Asgard...

It's a GREAT little gem for the money.

So I've been reading...have you happened to listen to any progmetal with it?

Not my type of tunes. Sorry.

Haha no prob, just figured I'd ask.  May just have to order both the 540 and the Asgard and see which one I like more.

If you do, please keep us posted.

I definitely will...may be a bit but I'll post back here when I decide one way or the other.
