Want to build a KGSS

Hi,

 

I am considdering building a KGSS. Does anyone have the protel pcb files? They were posted on Headwize but all the links are now dead.

I understand there are several versions so any other pcb files would be greatly appreciated.

Look into the KGSSHV (high voltage) version, group buy is yet to happen.

Menmber from June 2008 and this is his first post.

They eventually come out of the woodwork....

I got my KGSS boards from Headamp.

 

US$50 each for the amp and power supply boards.

 

He should also have the DACT2 quad attenuators.

June 2008 was just before some bugger ran off with my super fund & this killed of my diy for a while.

Yeah. Waiting here too. Although I am building an eXStatA right now.

I didn't know DIY was so much fun! Since is completely unrelated to what I do for a living, I am having to learn a lot, but is worth it.

And the help from this community is incredible,

Me too. (waiting that is)

I'm having dreams of soldering iron in hand, pcb's taking shape, sweet music from my Stax.

 

I'm a n00b around here, where does one get in line for pcb's when this thing kicks off?

I would assume in the DIY Forum? Or maybe just keep checking the Group Buy Forum?

As far as I can tell, there will not be any group buy.

Eventually there will be a thread to buy the boards. Amp and power supply.

The rest probably will be up to you.

They had requests for group buys for the volume controls, silicon devices and cases, but that fell through.

At the moment the project is being made as easy as possible for us DIYers before being let loose.

 

And don't forget, when it is released and you have yours up and running, - show your appreciation to Kevin Gilmore, Spritzer and the other denizens for their efforts........
