beyer 48 modified pads

Hey, can anyone help me?  I have the beyer 48's I'm wanting to know if there is a better mod for pads than the originals?  Those original pads get hot on your ears.

I haven't seen one yet since the DT48 is a niche headphone. But it shouldn't be hard to DIY a pair. They come off easily and it wouldn't be hard to put together some made from a comfy material.

You could try these earpad add-on's: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/368311-REG/Garfield_SGARHS2_Headphone_Softie_Earpad.html

Not sure if they will work though. Moisture is unnavoidable because of the seal they get along with them being closed. I have a feeling the softie covers will make them leak and not seal right. And with the DT-48, seal and headphone position is critical to the sound quality. So yeah, good luck finding a solution.
