Any budget DAC/DAC+AMP with USB + RCA input?

Thread Starter

Hi guys, are there any DAC/DAC+AMPs with both USB and RCA input that cost less than $350?

I will be hooking up the USB input to my computer, and the RCA input to my computer monitor/PS3.

Would also require an RCA output and headphone out for connecting to speakers and headphones.

I've done some searching on my part, but so far the only thing i've found to be suitable would be the DR.DAC2. I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations so that i would be able to widen my options. Thanks

Not sure if you are wanting RCA analog or digital (coax) input, I'm assuming digital.  The portable iBasso D10 has USB, optical and coax (RCA) inputs as well as a line out.

I just start to learn it, Where can I find the related documentation? Thank you! Could you explain it more clearly?

Are your speakers Active or Passive?Whcih of the sources is using digital coaxial or analog RCA? How critical is your listening level? Wnat kind of music genres do you go for?How big of an area are you putting up with your gears? Does your budget inclusive of those neccessary cables, eg interconnect both digital & analog, speaker cables (if any) ?

Bump.

I'm also looking for a "budget" priced DAC with USB and analog RCA input to allow a laptop and CDP to connect. The DAC will connect to integrated amp.

Maverick D1

Has optical, rca, USB, coaxial, and line-in inputs.

Has a tube-out and a line-out and a headphone out. $200 including shipping or $230 for the upgraded version.

Does the volume control only control headphones? I'm connecting to an integrated amp and would prefer not to have that control in line.

I've seen this before. It's very nice, much like the Grant TubeDAC-09. More than I want to spend right now... But thanks for the suggestion.

The volume knob controls all outputs, unless you press in the "direct" button. In this case, it bypasses the volume control for the line-out outputs and gives 100% output.
