help picking an amp....for my AD700 to my xbox - Page 2

i will still try to serch more post about the subject

but .. yeah im not a hardcore fps gamer either

but i do own the audio technica ath-ad700 alrdy and .. i love gaming whit headphones .. helps me forget about everything else

only problem .. my tv is total crap .. and .. i have no way to connect my headphones anywhere

i found that you just needed a amp ( a adapter could work, but wount give you any volume control ) and .. thats sucks .. lol

so .. here i was looking for a amp .. but .. not using voice chat .. and not being a hard core gammer .. but .. i do enjoy good suround sound .. i was pretty sure there must exist a good option for 10 to 60$ to ...

use my headphone fully .. and nothing more ..

but i guess those profesional gammer amp .. are pretty much the only option :(

Actually, I think I should apologize as well, since English isn't my first language either and I'm aware that I still have a long way to go before correcting other people lol. You profile says you're from Canada so your first language must be French, right?

Yeah, I know how you fell. I also entered the headphones world because I wanted to play my PS3 without being disturbed, so I started to look into good cans and later I found out that I needed more to make it sound good.. some dolars later, I ended up buying some "headphone stuff" and I'm quite satsfied with it... for now

Like loganirado said, if you don't care about chat, then go with the DSS it is 69 USD.

you'll run an optical cable from your console to the DSS. then just plug your headphones and you are ready to go. it even has bass boost, so if you like a little more body to your explosion you'll have it.
