Help me to choose !

Hi,

 

I am looking for headphones mostly for outside use, travel mostly.

 

I  have an ipod classic 5g. I mostly listen to Bonobo, The Crystal Method, Rage Against The Machine, Prodigy and some hard rock. So I would really like the headphones to have nice deep bass.

 

I want to avoid buying and amp, and I'm not interested in in-ear ones. I can spend up to £100.

 

So far I came across these :

 

- AKG K450

 

- Denon AH-D1001

 

- Sennheiser HD 238 Precision

 

- Sony MDR-XB700, a bit big though.

 

Any suggestions ?

XB700's are large. You can wear them when you travel, but be prepared for a few looks. The XB500's are slightly smaller and I have seen quite a lot of people on here say they prefer the sound. They are cheaper too.
