If you're a fan of The Farside you might like my webcomic

When I was little I was a big fan of The Farside and Calving and Hobbes, in fact I still am. A couple of months ago I acted on impulse and decided to start my own webcomic. Just wanted to share it with some fellow headfiers.

Try to keep an original drawing of each of your comic scripts, if you can.....You or your kids will enjoy them yrs from now!   Keep plugging away with your own brand!!

Well.. bookmarked.  really enjoyed a lot of them.

Giggled at quite a few of them. If I can make a suggestion, I'd consider removing some of the captions. I always find the joke to be diminished slightly when it's spelled out for me at the bottom (or top).

Just some criticism, don't take it the wrong way.

It looks professional, I couldn't tell if it was being done as a hobby or done in a paid for magazine.

Some of the material is intended for an adult audience, some of it seems ok for general audience, I feel the material is in a grey area on who the audience should be.

Definitely the audience that would get some of the jokes would have to be video gamers.

My favorite one was about the football video game.

That one reminds me of some of the stuff in American Splendor. Because it is from a true story. I think it could be more interesting if the jokes had more parts to it and developed into a short story.

Also, the drawings could be funnier if you spend more time making the pictures look like the actual people you know. To copy the American Splendor style.

I think it is a great idea and this site has potential if you can post more comics.

My favorites were sports (had a Demetri Martin vibe), hipsters, nudist colony, nintendo headquarters, dollar menu, and facebook hates you.

The grammar mistake in "How to be a Badass" made me have an aneurysm.

You have stalkers already!

I found some good witty jokes in there and agree that the clean look to it definitely helps your case... Too many web comics out there have good writing but awful artwork. Also, I like the Facebook one.

I really appreciate the criticism, most people don't the time to write such an in depth review. I'll definitely check out American Splendor, I will definitely be posting more comics. I'm posting a new one everyday smily_headphones1.gif
