What gen is classic? how old is it?

The Classic is a 6th gen iPod, which came after the iPod Video, which was referred to as 5th gen, and then 5.5 gen with a slight revision.

 

This one's just over a year old.

Any idea how many discharge and charge cycles on the iPod Classic?  And does it include the white Apple usb cable, dock adapter, and Apple earbuds (unused or used?)?

It comes with a generic usb cable and the leather case. Battery life is great, no idea on the charge cycles.
