So I have a pair of 590’s in which the right driver has developed a tear, and is starting to sound bad. My friend recently snapped the top part of his 595’s in half(don’t ask me, I’ve had my 590’s for a decade and they’re still in perfect condition) and is willing to give them to me for $30. The drivers are perfectly fine and have maybe 1000 hours on them. What does everyone think of this about putting them in the 590’s? Is this a bad idea?
Also, I already replaced the 590’s with a pair of akg k240 studio, which I enjoy alot more. These would just be for shits and giggles. So thoughts? ideas?
