Could I build a VU meter for my mono tube amp from these meters? (pics included)

I bought a bunch of these VU meters at a flea market. Sorry I'm just showing closeup, because overall they are quite beautiful. I just thought people would need to see the meter values. I have a 6 watt tube amp and I would like to hook up a VU meter - mainly for display. I'm only really interested in seeing the "dance" - the values represented don't have to be accurate. It's more for the show, I love VU meters. If anyone could tell me specifically what parts I would have to buy to make these work that would be great. I'm really not an EE by any stretch of the imagination.  There are the pics.

You could just use a simple resistor divider to make them work.

You will need to know the full swing voltage value.

On the bottom meter it is printed on the face:FS=5V

Once you know the full swing value you have to know the

voltage you want to monitor.

Lets say your outputs got to 10 volts.

Just make a 50/50 voltage divider and you should be golden.

You could also use them to monitor current as they are marked

to by using a shunt.

Good luck with them!
