ok, I currently using Govibe DAC now, and I think I want do upgrade

I need DAC that can offering warm sound sig and forward sounding for midrange, maybe like uDac with better quality.

oh yeah, also, size is a matter for me, some things like Dacmagic is sure too big for me. My budget can stretch until $400.

any suggestion? thx

note: will be use for K701

I was in your shoes a while back,  you have figured out that most budget DAC's have a recessed midrange and those that don't sound harsh.   Look for a used Adacom GDA-700 or an Audio Alchemy DDE v1.3,  it may take a while to find but these are very under-rated and usually sell for $300ish.  Otherwise save, as midrange isn't cheap smily_headphones1.gif
