Converter, quick question!

I'm looking to run both my active speakers and headphone amp from my soundcards line out. Will this 3,5mm to 2x 3,5mm worsen the audio quality? 85529_01.jpg

No.

You will lose ~3dB of gain but it is generally accepted in the trade that you can split a signal up to three times without loss of SQ.

Disclaimer: If you are the sort of audiophile who can hear differences in different brands of cable or such like then you might feel different. Also any connection is a bad thing in general but since you need one at this point it's not an issue you can avoid.

Alright, thanks a lot. Never really auditoned different cables, as I expect there won't be any difference.
