It is the The 24/96 USB interface outputs a I2S signal to ES9018."  that catches my attention. I asked Kingwa if I can add I2S input to my NFB1 and the reply was negative.... Now this DAC-AMP combo got I2S input....

Hmm, not sure you got that right...

There is no "I2S input socket" on the back of NFB-11, it is just that NFB's USB input does not convert to SPDIF but directly to I2S which is directly fed to ESS chip.

Sorry, I didn't mean direct I2S input, but with the digital board to accept I2S signal.

BTW, I received my Audio-gd NFB1 today. For the short listening I have done so far, I think I shall suggest Kingwa to use the word "naked" instead of "neutral" to describe his Sabre DACs. It is definitely not the usual "neutral" one uses to experience.

The advice stated by Kingwa is sincere. Do consider it seriously.

Didn't Kingwa just say a month ago that he was tired and wouldn't be creating any more DACs for at least 3 months?

He just said the NFB7 would be the last dedicated DAC of 2010... Have to say he is one hardcore guy.

In whole month I was watch very lot stateside filmes every days cause I can't working for design. Like the Star War even though I had watch more than 10 times but I rewatch again recently.

Any new products must design at least 2-3 months ago. Some maybe design one years ago.

Well KingWa, enjoy your films and do take a good rest - you certainly have deserved it.

Will your next dac look like something from Star Wars ?

I've asked for one.  I need something to take with me when I go to Australia for Xmas that is good enough I'm not going to miss my main rig and "promo price" is going to mean "too good to pass up" and I noticed that one of the pics shows a fair of PSU being in there, which is a promising sign.  I asked Kingwa about the voltage, and he said that I would simply have to change the transformer wiring, which is straightforward enough for me.  I'm going to give my Sparrow to a friend.
