Are they also going to charge you an exorbitant amount to get them out?

 probably 2 Blue Hawaii's and a T2....

Ack, is it missing the proper documentation for them to release your 507s?  Hopefully you will find a solution and get your pair soon!

Hi I am considering to buy the stax 507/323s combo or 407/323 combo instead of the offered 4170 system with 407/006ts.

have you any comments re these combination esp the 507 or 407 with ss 323s?

I have heard the older stax lmbda signature , is your 507 sound much better...ie big audible improvement over the old signature?

thanks

The 507's driven by the 323S is superb.   As reported... great detail and clarity, with good bass, and with good soundstage - though, you won't get quite the bass and mids that Grados, Senns, Denons, or ATH's can provide, if that matters.

The 323S has greater output voltage than the tube amps, which the Stax phones need to perform up to their capabilities.  After trying both with my 507's, I would never buy a Stax tube amp... especially for the 02's - though, you might get by with the Lambdas.
