What happened to the Oyaide PA-02 wire?

It seems like Percy Audio and Take Five no longer stock it, and Partsconnexion doesn't have it either. Was it pulled from the market?

Still shows up in their online catalogue.

Is it good cable?  I've been grabbing a couple of meters of various cables as I come across them and building ICs to see what kind of bargain I can get as a result.

I've found it's a nice alternative to Cardas if you're looking for a warmish IC. I sent an email to TakeFive to see what the deal is.

Interesting, because the Audio Technica EA-1000, which has a similar construction, is a bit warm too.  It's half the price as well and fits the Canare F-09 perfectly.

yeah I havent seen it in a while either. but you might look at the neotech nei-3002 at sonicraft its basically the same, except actually its probably a bit large at 10mm

Nice find. A shame that it's 10.5mm, there's only a couple of plugs that would accept such a porcine cable wink.gif

Take Five told me yesterday they don't carry Oyaide PA-02 anymore.

carries it, but it's $44/foot. Is that the going rate?

absolutely not, hell you can get top of the line furutech for less than that.

It's about $5/foot here. What a rip-off!

It was $5-7 a foot from Take5 / Percy. $44 might be acceptable for 10 foot sections wink.gif

Anyone have 3 feet they can sell me? I have a set of ICs I'd like to finish :P

My mistake. It's $44/meter at Kosmic. That's still quite high at $13.41/foot. Can anyone point me to a cheaper source?

Thanks in advance!

Sometime, if I have time, I might consider ordering a few meters of it for people, but don't hold your breath.
