What are your top 5 favorite websites?

Thread Starter

Hi all,

I'd like to know 5 websites in English (except head-fi and news such as CNN, BBC...) you visit on a daily basis?

Here is mine:

1. facebook

2. engadget

3. StumpleUpon

4. digg (top 24 hours)

5. deviantart

TED.com - Educational and inspiring. The most brilliant minds of the human race are all gathered there, and balances out the general idiocy of the typical crap we see on the internet.

cgtalk.com - Mostly because I'm a forum leader there and also teach an art workshop for them.

kvraudio.com - Because I'm a composer/sound designer and I love all things related to music-making, especially computer-based stuff.

V.I. Control - Same reason as KVR, except it focuses more on orchestral music and film/game scoring.

Penny Arcade - Because it makes me laugh and I'm an avid gamer.

I'll cheat and add one more--Facebook, and only because I live away from all of my family and friends, so this is the best way to keep in touch.

I believe this thread already exists! Literally the top five websites you visit.

Listen, Landis,

If we HeadFi'ers can't recreate the same thread at least 378 times a day, and sometime that amount before 10:00 AM... why bother?

I suppose you have a point... In fact, it's the start of a new day, I think I'm going to go create a new "What are you listening to?" and a maybe a thread about the ATH-M50!

My past few comments may constitute thread jacking/dumping so I'll end it here. I refuse to be belligerent, just to be different.

I'm assuming there's a website that does this and you don't just have that much time on your hands?  Also, these end in 'ent', but none of them rhyme as well as what I was thinking...

Actually I just typed in google "words ending in rent" and the first page had this list.  So because they all end in "rent" and not just "ent" they all rhyme!

BitTorrent?

Anyway, the sites I check every day are:

http://www.giantitp.com/

http://www.megatokyo.com/

http://www.kenrockwell.com/

http://www.nuklearpower.com/

http://www.xkcd.com/

Yes, I realize that those are almost all webcomics. I don't do very much online, frankly. Head-Fi is actually number 2.
