Iphone4 + Case + ... IEM?

Thread Starter

Hey all,

Hope this is the right section but was just wondering if anyone has the iphone and is using a case which cover the top of the phone with a very small "hole" for you to plug in the earphones / iems?

Has anyone had trouble fitting the connector/earphone in?

For example, the earsonic SM3s, they have a pretty tanky connector which is unlikely to fit properly if you're using a case also...

Anyone have any solutions? (other than buying a snap on case that doesn't cover the top)

Hope that makes sense?

(Edit: Found this -  http://dreambox8000.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1593

But wondered if this would potentially affect sound quality?)

Thanks.

I wouldn't want to add a cheap IC when it's not needed. I'll suggest buying an Otterbox Defender... I finally went with one after I cracked my second 3GS screen while it was in the Incase Slider. Can't use a dock w/o removal or a LO cable.
