Factory Tour: Front Panel Express

Thread Starter

This thread is an off-shoot from the Head-Fi meet in Seattle WA on 10/2/10 organized by BIG POPPA and hosted by Front Panel Express (frontpanelexpress.com), which has been a prolific source of many a DIY-er's headphone amps that I've seen. Thanks to FPE for hosting the meet as well as offering a tour of their facility. It was very eye-opening and as a non-DIY-er myself it was interesting to see what goes on at one of these manufacturing facilities. I came away highly impressed.

Looks like a really interesting visit - did you find out where they keep the gummi bears?

Sure looks like a great place!

Believe the panels on my β22 and σ22 came from their facilities.

Coo! That's a front panel for one of our new Tube Phono preamps being milled in the photo right above the photo of Paul
