Verry sexy....also the 6moons review was very nice.
Are there any DIY designs using these valves?
My amp uses 6 6SN7. The back tubes are 7n7 in adapters.
The red lamp is a neon pilot lamp, which is technically vacuum-tube age technology.

What is it? Amp that is...
I know that this isnt headphone amp, however you may try it with K1000 or others and it will possibly work, but the tube size fits the name pretty nicely...

I believe the unofficial nomenclature is "Silver Ghost" but the owner would have to say for sure. I can say no more at the risk of... well, you know.
I've listened to this very amp at Canjam in Chicago, using nikongod's HD800s, RS-1s and some of my own stuff(we shared my sources as a matter of fact).
To say it is a "good amp" would indeed be an understatement.
@ Skylab
This is yours? If it sounds 1/10 of how good it looks its awesome...
looks like a DIY?
No its a decware.
I had no idea of their existence but suddenly they seem to be a viable option besides wooaudio....dunno about their quality in comparison though but still they have some seemingly nice offers.
How come? Big tubes can replace your fireplace in northen countries it would totally make sense to have an amp with as big valves as possible
Show me a more powerful audio tube that has better distortion/linearity/noise than its less powerful cousin. there are a few out there... but not many.
What do you mean? By less powerful you mean smaller?
