If you don't mind buying used, here's some to keep an eye out for:

EAD T-1000

Theta Data Basic I or II

Theta Data II

Theta David I or II

Theta Pearl

PS Audio Lambda

Classe CDT-1

Proceed CDD

Muse Model 5

I´ve got a Little Dot CDP_I. The comments about it being slow to respond to input are true. Very slow actually... But it does the job, and most importantly sounds suprisingly good out of the BNC socket. If you ask me they should try to release an updated version at some point.

Not sure if this helps, but Kingwa once recommended me Marantz players as transports, because they have good power supply designs. I´d hunt used forums for one of those smily_headphones1.gif
