Looking to sell the Yamaha rebrand of Ultrasone's HFI-450. Like new condition - been really careful with these. Maybe 60 hours of use aside from burn-in on them. Original packaging included.

 

Looking for $old shipped via Priority CONUS. International shipping will be split with buyer.

Decided to let go of my beloved Denons. These are highly underrated and IMO on-level with the ATH-M50 with the major difference being that the Denons favor treble over bass. Like the M50s they do like being amped. These have been my go-to closed cans for about 8 months and show some signs of wear, mostly on the pads (cracking, etc). Functionality is not affected in any way. I don't have the original box but can include a Denon D2000 box if necessary.

Well I only put them up last night so yes, still available. I'm afraid you won't find much info on them - they've strangely been ignored around here which is a shame IMO. I had a harder time deciding to sell them than I did the venerable ATH-M50s.

How much signs of wear does the Denon shows? is that a recent photo? i always like to have spare, and the portable ones i bought wont be exception. so I might be interested, but i cant PM

Funny but someone else has expressed interest right after you posted that.
 

Looking at them now and the best way I can quantify it is that they don't look 'new', unlike most of my other headphones. Aside from the nicks in the pads there's some very light surface scratches on the headband and hinges (the parts that are plastic) and some dust in the hard-to-reach areas which I should be able to take care of. And yeah, the pic is recent. The imperfections and whatnot are very hard to see, never mind photograph.

I put it on-level with the Beyer DT235 or maybe a little higher. It's a dark and smooth headphone, pretty well balanced. No monster bass or harsh, spiky treble (at least not since they've been burned-in) but they aren't as extended as my Ultrasone Pro 650 (though to be fair they also cost more than 2x less). Being an Ultrasone they also utilize S-Logic, which makes them sound more spacious (compared to other DJ phones in the price range, at least) but not pinpoint-accurate. I find them pretty relaxing which is why I've kept them for a while but really don't have the need for them.
